An aspect of life that I have come to embrace and believe is that here are always second chances, new hope, fresh starts and so much amazing revelation and knowledge to be gained and put into practice that can change our lives for the better.
As an artist, I am still exploring and finding my way, my own voice and signature. I have a strong design aesthetic that I want to integrate into paintings, and I love to draw in graphite or ink.
In painting, I'm finding myself drawn more and more to the Australian landscape, especially the country areas, the farming communities, endless wheat fields and sheep paddocks, and the outback. I want to use landscape, signs and symbols as metaphor to tell story. I am interested in the seasons, change and transformation - both in the natural environment and within the individual and how they reflect each other.
I hope to encourage viewers to explore spirituality in their lives and find greater fulfilment, meaning and purpose.
