ARTIST BACKGROUND

Artistic training in the past has been in a novice capacity - a local community pastel class, a correspondence course in Design, a year at TAFE studying for a Cert IV in Fine Arts.

I have had 3 solo exibitions.  The first two were in a cafe gallery in Richmond NSW. They were not large shows due to space restrictions.  I showed about 10-12 small to medium sized pieces in each show.  The third show was at St Vincents Hospital in Darlinghurst, Sydney.  I did 21 pieces on paper.

Years ago, I had a short season of illustrating dogs. Great Danes mainly. Even though I was asked by a national dog magazine to contact them, I found the work very isolating and decided not to continue.
